What you get, when you get it, and what happens if plans change, for every service I offer. Plain language, no small print.

Scheduling
Your $350 holds your slot. I take two audits a week, so booking is the only way to reserve one. We meet for a 30-minute intake call within 5 business days of booking, in person if you are in the Kansas City metro, on video if you are not.
What I need from you
Before the intake call: your website address, manager access to your Google Business Profile, and view access to Google Search Console. If you do not have Search Console, I will set it up during the audit at no extra cost.
Turnaround
Your report arrives within 7 business days of the intake call, provided I have the access above. If access is not in place, the clock starts the day it is. If I have not received access within 30 days of the intake call, your fee converts to a credit good for 90 days rather than a refund.
What you receive
A written audit report covering all four pillars, with a grade for each, your top three fixes, a finding-by-finding list, and a 30-day plan in the order it should be done. A recorded walkthrough video under five minutes covering the fixes that matter most. One round of written questions, answered in writing, within 14 days of delivery.
Rescheduling
Reschedule any time with at least 24 hours notice, at no charge. Inside 24 hours, I will reschedule once as a courtesy.
If you do not show
If you miss the intake call without notice, the slot is forfeited. Get in touch within 14 days and I will rebook you once at no charge. After 14 days the fee stands.
Refunds
Full refund any time before the intake call happens. Once that call takes place the audit work has begun, and the fee is non-refundable. If something goes genuinely wrong on my end, tell me and we will sort it out.
Credit toward fixes
If you decide you would rather I implement the plan, your $350 comes off any audit and fixes package, so a small site is $650 from there. The credit is good for 30 days from the day your report is delivered. Split payment is available on every size.
What an audit can and cannot do
An audit diagnoses what is limiting your visibility and tells you what to fix, in order. It does not implement those fixes, and it cannot guarantee any ranking, map pack position, or appearance in an AI answer. Nobody can honestly promise those. Technical fixes often show results within weeks. Local rankings and content usually take three to six months.

Who it is for
Clients who have had a site audit and want me to implement the plan in it.
How the size is set
Your audit counts the pages that need changes, not every page on your site. A page is any page or blog post that needs at least one fix. Pages that need nothing do not count. The size and the exact page list are written into your scope document before you pay anything.
Price and credit
If you go ahead within 30 days of your audit report being delivered, your $350 audit fee comes off the price for your size. After 30 days, the full price applies.
Payment
In full before work starts, or in installments. Small and Medium: half before work starts, half when the work is complete and before our review call. Large: a third before work starts, a third at the halfway point, and a third when the work is complete. Invoices are sent through Stripe and are due on receipt.
Scope
Exactly what I will do is set out in a written scope document you receive with your report, including what is not included. If the page count changes after you sign it, or you ask for anything outside it, you get a written quote before any work starts, and nothing is added to an invoice without your agreement.
Timeline
Work starts within five business days of your first payment, provided I have the access listed in the scope. Small is complete within 30 days of starting, Medium within 45, and Large within 60. If access is not in place, the timeline starts the day it is.
Review call
Every size includes a 30-minute review call when the work is done, so you see what changed and why.
Cancelling
Full refund of anything paid if you cancel before work starts. Once work starts, payments already made are non-refundable. If you stop partway, you keep everything completed and the remaining payments are not due.
New pages, about $250 each
- For pages your site does not have yet, such as one page per service
- About $250 a page, or three pages for $650
- Written in your voice, built on your site, and optimized for search
- Added to an audit and fixes package or ongoing SEO, never on its own
What is included
The writing, the page build, a page title and description, structured data where it fits, and links from your existing pages. Photos come from you, or we agree on stock images together.
Your approval
I send every page to you before it goes live. Nothing about your services, prices, or credentials is published without your sign-off, and I never write health claims your practice cannot stand behind.
Pricing and payment
The exact price for your pages is written into your scope document. New pages are billed with the package they are added to, on the same payment schedule.
Ongoing SEO, from $1,500 a month
The short version
- Starts after a site audit, never before
- Billed monthly in advance by card, on the same date each month
- Three month minimum, then month to month
- Stop any time after the minimum with 30 days notice, no fee
- Everything published on your site stays yours when we finish
Starting
Ongoing work begins after a site audit, so the first month is spent on the right things. Your monthly price and what it includes are agreed in writing before the first payment. The standard plan is $1,500 a month; anything beyond it, such as more locations or more content, is quoted in writing first.
Billing
Monthly, in advance, by card through Stripe, on the same date each month. The first payment is due before work starts. You can update your card through the secure billing link Stripe sends you.
Minimum term
Three months from the first payment. Search changes take that long to show, and judging the work sooner would be judging it before it had a chance to work. If you need to stop during the first three months, the remaining months of the minimum are still due, unless we agree otherwise in writing.
Stopping
After the minimum, the work runs month to month. Email me at any time to stop. Your last month is the later of the end of the minimum term or 30 days after your email. There is no cancellation fee.
What happens each month
The work agreed in your plan, a written report, and a 30-minute call. If something planned for a month is delayed because I am waiting on you, it moves into the following month. Unused work does not build up beyond that.
Approvals
I send content to you before it goes live. If I have not heard back within five business days, it moves to the next month rather than going live without you.
Pausing
Life happens, and practitioners take breaks. You can pause for one month, once a year, with two weeks notice. Billing pauses with it, and the minimum term extends by the same month.
Access
I need the same access as the audit, kept in place while we work together. You can revoke it at any time; work pauses until it is restored.
Missed payments
If a payment fails, Stripe will retry and let you know. If it is still unpaid after seven days, work pauses until it is settled.
Price changes
Never during your minimum term. After that, I will give you at least 60 days notice in writing before any change.

These services are provided by Joann Schermerhorn, a sole proprietor doing business as The Grand Schema, Overland Park, Kansas.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas.
Your information
Access you grant me is used only to complete the work you booked. I do not share your site data, analytics, or report with anyone else. Results and screenshots may be used anonymously as an example unless you give written permission to name your practice. Access can be revoked the moment your work is delivered.
Ownership
Reports, content, and every change made to your site or accounts are yours once paid, and they stay yours when we finish. Use them, share them, keep them. The templates and methods behind the work stay mine.
What no one can guarantee
No service I offer can guarantee a ranking, a map pack position, or an appearance in an AI answer, and nobody can honestly promise those. What I guarantee is the work, done as described here.
